B4 The Voice (Season 2)

I wish we could have seen more from Justin Hopkins. I dig his album "We Are Where We Came From". It has a melancholy feel to it. You know, it's that feeling you get right before you breakthrough and pick yourself back up again after falling down or succumbing to the "failure". Thank you George and "Clown School" for giving me so many moments of failure to allow my clown to be "born" and learn just what that "pick yourself back up" feeling can feel like if you let yourself fail, then try again.
Do you like them now or before?
I was blown away by Juliet's performance of "It's a Man's, Man's, Man's World" (see below). She is just amazing to me. Her performance of Roxanne blows my mind. I could have caught a swarm of bees in my mouth because my jaw was on the floor. It's hard to find words to describe. I'm just flabbergasted and totally engrossed in listening. Her work before #TheVoice does not engage me nearly as much as what she's doing now.
I loved that CeeLo allowed him the space to arrange the music with an electronic twist. It was very cool to hear Jamar say, "I want people to hear the kind of music I'd put together as part of my album." I'm paraphrasing a little, but that statement really caught my attention. Hell, yes, Jamar. If that's the kind of music you want to make, then that's the kind I'd buy. Thank you for being so focused on your fans (aka customers). He really took the bull by the horns this round. Stepped up to claim his place and continue to encourage everyone to do the same. Love it, Jamar. Love it. Thank you.
