One of those decisions brought me back to voiceover. My inner critic has been nasty and debilitating. To the point where I would sing and tell myself that I was no good, couldn't hit the note, blah blah. Time to send my critic on a nice long tropical vacation. And so I did.
Along the way, I discovered an amazing app that helped me break through and get unstuck. yep, it's called Unstuck (click the UN to the left to learn more about it). Love it. Totally helped me find a path out of the debilitating self deprication. I now have a plan, tasks (in bite sized, easy to attack) pieces. In fact, it's little stuff that I can do in 10 min increments. Yay!
While I've been "offline" for several months, I will soon be back with some fun new content to bring you. I hope you'll like it.
I'll leave you with the words of one of my favorite musicians and lyricists, Jason Mraz. His latest album, Love Is a Four Letter Word is totally inspiring! His words strike a deep chord in me. I hear the optimist, the believer of good in the world and a man who knows "what he thinks, he becomes." He's one of the first mainstream artists of my generation to sing such aligned sentiments with the words of Mike Dooley and Abraham-Hicks. I was blown away and uplifted. There are others who believe in the goodness of the world and choose to focus upon it. I LOVE IT!
