1 whole frozen mango chunked & de-stoned
1 whole frozen peach chunked & de-stoned
1 whole frozen nectarine chunked & de-stoned
A handful of candied ginger minced (if not already)
2 cups of baby kale
1 T cinnamon (Penseys Vietnamese is best)
1 t ground lemon peal
1-3 cups of water (as much needed to blend)
Note: I had fruit that was going to go bad before I could eat it so i threw the whole think in the freezer. You could buy pre-chopped frozen fruit, but single pieces allow me to have more variety, take up less freezer space and save money.
Warm the whole frozen fruit under water to remove the skin (mango in particular)
Blend all together & pour into freezable containers. Yields 5 servings at 8 oz.
Name still in progress. Though when I take a sip, I'm transported to paradise. It's like drinking in a tropical forrest. I imagine its the flavor you'd get if sipping the treetops in the lush Hawaiian back country. Puts me at a forrest/beach cafe on Maui or high on a Hawaiian hill overlooking the treetops of a vast forrest. Mmm. Bliss.
